How It All Works

PAYMENT

Chestnut Tree Records uses PAYPAL to accept credit card payment for your purchases. You do not need an account with PAYPAL to buy from us. We accept all major credit cards.

The PAYPAL payment system that we use can sometimes take up to a day to process payment. You will not be able to access any downloads until your payment has processed. Once your payment has processed, you should recieve a confirmation email letting you know that your downloads are available.

If you would like to pay with check or money order, please make payable to “Chestnut Tree Records” and send, along with your order, to P.O. Box 3003 Bloomington, IN 47402.

Most of the music on Chestnut Tree Records is available as an MP3 download. You can buy individual songs or whole albums. And of course, most of our music is also still available in traditional hard copy format (CD, vinyl, etc.).

DOWNLOADS

After you have made your purchase of a downloadable product, and once your payment through PAYPAL has processed, go to the Account page at www.chestnuttreerecords.com/store. Sign in and click the "Downloads" button under "My Orders." Your downloads will be listed here for you to download at your convenience. You may download your MP3(s) a total of two times per purchase.

FIREFOX PROBLEM

Occasionally, when downloading MP3s using Firefox, the files will download without the file name or the .mp3 extension. Do not fret. If you rename the file adding the .mp3 extension, your download will work. This is an issue with Firefox and how it recognizes certain file types. Unfortunately, to date, we have no way of fixing this issue. This is frustrating for us as well because Firefox is our preffered web browser. Sorry for the inconvenience.
